Summer

Since school got out in mid-May, we have been having the greatest time at home. In the past, we have had a rough adjustment into summer. This year, however, I think we were all ready for a change of pace. We have spent more time playing at home than we have in the longest time. Tyler and Megan have been enjoying each other so much that Megan now cries hysterically if we drop Tyler at a friends house to play. She says, "I need Tyler" or "my Tyler," then continues to talk about him the entire time he is gone. She is now so used to him being around that my entertainment doesn't always suffice anymore. Tyler is also enjoying his sister. They both went over to his friend Drew's house the other day (Drew has a younger brother Megan's age) and Tyler said he wanted Megan to come with him to all the playdates where his friend had a younger sibling. The last few weeks have been so much fun and we are looking forward to many more fun events as the summer continues.
