Kindergarten Funnies

Yesterday, Tyler brought home his first completed journal from school, which is a spiral notebook. They are required to draw and write in the journal daily and the teacher often gives them a prompt on what to write about (by writing I mean a sentence or so). Some days it is something they like about themselves, others it is about something they would like to do. I was looking through the journal this morning. On one of the pages was, "school would be better if," (the prompt)... we didn't have journals (Tyler's response). I found myself laughing out loud at such honesty. I just love it; it is such a great age.
