Today, when I picked up from school (Megan was asleep in the car), Tyler said he had lots of things for Megan. Then he started handing me picture after picture with Megan's name on them. He had told his friends that Megan had to get stitches so they all drew her pictures and wrote her name. It was one of the sweetest things ever. I even got teary driving home. I will post a picture so you can see all the different pictures he made and had made for her by his friends Drew, Clayton, Gray, Georgia, Isabelle, and Catherine. Such sweet kids - I will really miss them next year. Tyler is such a wonderful caring big brother; they certainly are lucky to have one another.
Megan wasn't interested in smiling for pictures yesterday, but she and Tyler did manage to have fun together in spite of the injury.
Here is a picture of all of Megan's well wishes from Tyler's friends. She has the ability to work magic with his friends sometimes.
Today's pics - the swelling is much better, the redness is turning to bruising/black eye, and the aversion to the camera has gone away. The Hello Kitty band aid may have helped with this.

So sweet! I am sorry Miss Megan, and her parents had to endure the ER, but I am glad all went well and Tyler is such a loving big brother.
Oh sweet Megan! Let's hope Tyler is just as protective/worried about his little sister when she starts dating!! :)
So glad to hear little Megan is recovering well - hope the same can be said for her mom! That couldn't have been easy on your nerves, Beth, and it sounds like you handled things beautifully.
